libhtml-lint-perl software package provides checker of HTML errors in strings or files, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libhtml-lint-perl
libhtml-lint-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libhtml-lint-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libhtml-lint-perl *
You will get with libhtml-lint-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
